Volare is developing, in partnership with BYD - the world's leading developer of powertrain for electric vehicles, the Volare.e model, with 100% electric motorization. The new electric Volare is unique in its category all over the world, because it has reduced length and weight, featuring low floor, pneumatic suspension and zero emission.

Completely new, it is ideal for use in urban centers and is designed to offer greater internal space, with the configuration of the batteries and powertrain in position to provide maximum efficiency and reduction in operating costs and total weight (one of the major challenges of electric vehicles for the transport of passengers).

Volare's engineering developed the vehicle according to structural calculations so that the BYD powertrain would fit the body. It has the batteries in the roof and the rear and it can be fully recharged in just three hours, which is another advantage of the Volare electric vehicle.

Volare.e is 9,150 mm long, 3,380 mm high and 2,360 mm wide, and counts on low floor, rear-wheel drive and capacity for about 45 passengers (20 seated and 25 standing).  BYD engine with two motors of 90 kW and 450 Nm of maximum torque. It also has regenerative system of the brake energy for more efficient usage of energy.
