VOLARE SUPPLIES SPECIAL ATTACK 9 BUS MODEL BUILT ON VOLKSWAGEN CHASSIS FOR COSTA RICA

The objective is to meet the growing demand for exclusive vehicles

Volare has just developed a new version of the Attack 9 minibus with Volkswagen 9.160 chassis. Designed for the Costa Rican market, the vehicle aims to meet the needs and characteristics of the local market, which seeks a premium product that combines sophistication with robustness, reliability and greater transport capacity.

According to Rodrigo Bisi, Volare's export manager, two units were initially produced and sent to the representative Pacyatlan. “One of the units will be supplied to Skyline, which is one of our main customers in the country and has a fleet with eleven Volare vehicles. The other one will be destined to Pacyatlan so that a product presentation program can be developed for current and potential customers”, he comments.

The two Attack 9 vehicles  are 8,900mm long and 2,320mm wide and have carrying capacity for 31 passengers plus auxiliary in the version with normal luggage compartment, and for 26 passengers plus auxiliary in the version with extended luggage compartment. With Executive features, the buses are equipped with a Valeo 205 ceiling air conditioning system, full partition wall, luggage racks with individual air outlets and lighting, executive seats with three-point seat belt and USB charger. Offering greater comfort to passengers, they have a refrigerator, audio and video system with microphone, radio, DVD and screen monitor. Another special feature is the reversing camera installed in the rear bumper.

Pacyatlan became a Volare representative in 2017 with the aim of exploring the market potential for vehicles of up to 10 tons of total gross weight for the tourism segment. The company has been a Marcopolo representative since 2014, when it started reintroducing and repositioning the brand across the country.
