Vehicle is a synonym of comfort and safety for passengers and driver
In May, Volare Five completes a year of its launch. Featuring innovative design, it broke important paradigms in the national market and created a new concept in the transportation of people, developed from inside out with unique standards of comfort, ergonomics, safety, internal mobility and convenience.
Volare Five has given birth to a new segment of the market: the one of compact models. Complete, it is not considered a bus, nor a micro-bus or a van, but an unprecedented concept of light vehicle for the transportation of passengers. It is the result of the combination of strengths of a van and a small bus.
With a reduced size (6,700 mm lenght, 2,740 mm external height, 2,010 mm width, 1,930 mm internal height and1,908 mm internal width), it offers greater internal space and differentiated configurations for much more comfort and safety. It is equipped with 150 hp Cummins ISF 2.8 engine and 360 Nm at 1,500 rpm, five-speed Eaton FSO 4505 C mechanical transmission and hydraulic steering. The model has rear traction, which guarantees better response in terrain. The front engine allows easy access to mechanic components and fast maintenance.
Tour operators expand fleet with new Volare Five
Less than a year after acquiring the first five units of the Volare Five, Luck Receptivo, in Recife, which is considered one of the best companies in the tourist segment of Brazil, purchased eight more vehicles of the Executive model. The objective of the operator is to further increase the standards of comfort, safety and agility for its customers on trips through the state of Pernambuco, and the success achieved in this first year was decisive for the expansion of the fleet.
In Guilherme Luck's opinion, director of the operator, Volare Five is an extremely comfortable vehicle for both passengers and driver, since its drivability is highly praised by them. "Even though it has been released recently, our initial perception was quite positive. Then, what has surprised us was its robustness and durability, which makes the operation cheaper, "he explains.
Another company that also renewed its fleet with Volare Five vehicles was the LMC Transportes, an operator in the Manaus Free Zone that is a reference in the charter segment, has purchased four units and recently has purchased six more. The purpose of the LMC is to offer customers a vehicle with exclçusive characteristics and dimensions to meet their needs by providing comfort and agility.
According to Macario Lopes de Carvalho, owner of LMC Transportes, its greatest characteristic is the versatility of the model. "The Volare Five features superior performance and very efficient air-conditioning system. We are very pleased with the acquisition to better meet the needs of our customers, "emphasizes Macario.
Acquisition done through Finame (Funding for Machines and Equipment) with 100% of the amount financed.
Developed to be qualified under the M3 category of Contran, which enables financing through Finame credit lines, Volare Five can be acquired with the option of financing 100% of the value and up to 60 months to pay, which represents an important advantage over all direct competitors.
The Volare Five has three different configurations, varying between 13 and 20 passengers and it also incorporates concepts of automobiles. With total gross weight of five tons, it meets the safety requirements for collective public transport vehicles as regarding buses and micro buses.
Another important feature of the Volare Five is its luggage rack. The model offers up to 1.57 m³ of luggage space in an exclusive separate compartment from the passenger saloon with easy access.
The pantographic door with automatic opening and closing via remote control is another important and fundamental feature of the Volare Five. With greater dimensions, it provides ease of access and convenience. Its first step is only 38 cm above the ground and the interior access staircase is the lowest among all models available in the market (among vans and buses).
The development of Volare Five started in February 2013. The company, which has always focused on the passenger and the driver for the development of its vehicles, worked on defining new parameters. Thus, the company's engineers used the QFD (Quality Function Deployment) tool to determine their characteristics (according to the needs and desires of the transport professionals), it was based on the most relevant aspects such as easy access and mobility, greater internal space and compact external size. Several users were surveyed to develop this project.
