Minibuses will be used in charter and tourism services
Transmeira, one of the main transportation operators in Sorocaba charter and tourism segment of the São Paulo's state countryside, has acquired five units of the Volare DW9 Executive model. The vehicles will be used in corporate charter services, excursions and airport transfers in the region.
According to Sidnei Vargas, commercial manager of the domestic market of Volare, Transmeira's goal is to increase the standards of comfort, safety and accessibility for its customers. "The DW9 Executive was chosen because it offers unique features for both driver and passengers. The model is agile, with easy handling and maneuverability, it is also comfortable, robust and has low maintenance costs", he explains.
"For our municipal charter service we chose the vehicle because it is very economical and meets our expectations. We have opted for the brand since 2016 and we are very happy with our decision. We are currently innovating our services and acquiring larger vehicles for our fleet, "says Junior Meira, director of Transmeira Fretamento.
The Volare DW9 can carry 31 passengers in 940 mm wide reclining seats with aisle and center armrests and a retractable two-point seat belt. It has air conditioning system, full partition wall, glazed windows, curtains, cup and magazine holders and complete package holder with LED lighting, speakers and individual air ducts.
It is equipped with a 156 hp Mercedes-Benz engine, 9,400 kg TGW, ABS pneumatic brakes, pantographic doors with door brake system, rear hatchback with wide access and electronic LED display. The Volare DW9 Executive has also a driver's seat with hydraulic cushioning, seat for the tour guide, preparation for DVD, monitor with selector switch, radio with USB port, 12v socket on the dashboard, reverse siren and fog lights.
