Leading minibus brand launches innovations to prevent the Coronavirus infection and to safely resume transport and travel
How can we start using public transport safely after the strong impact of the pandemic on global mobility? Volare, the leading minibus brand in Brazil which belongs to the Marcopolo Group, launches the digital campaign Volare BioSafe - a platform that brings together several innovations in vehicle’s biosafety, reducing the risk of contamination by the new Coronavirus as well as other viruses and bacteria. The objective is to preserve the health and peace of mind of passengers and drivers in the current scenario.
Developed by Batuca agency, the campaign presents the BioSafe platform solutions through videos, banners and digital display. The solutions presented include safe distancing of the seats, which are arranged in three individual rows instead of the traditional pair of seats, curtains and seats with antimicrobial fabric, hand sanitizer dispenser and an advanced nanoparticle disinfection system (FIP Onboard). The driver also gained a specific protection to keep safe distance.
“The Covid-19 pandemic points to an important change in passenger transportation, opening up opportunities for our segment. In order to avoid crowds some companies are seeking to exchange smaller vehicles for minibuses to transport their professionals as well as their customers, as we can see in chartering,” says João Paulo Ledur, director of the Volare and the Neobus Business.
“Volare BioSafe is already being sold both in Brazil and abroad. Biosafety is the driving force of the new worldwide mobility and our company is committed to passenger safety,” he adds.
The campaign follows a regional strategy, starting with the states of Amazonas, Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul. The target audiences are brand customers, customers of customers such as fleet contracting companies, prospects, and end users. The media mix consists of Facebook, Instagram and Youtube in addition to Google Adwords ads.
“Volare BioSafe further reinforces our position of being made for customers worldwide. Innovations in biosafety contribute to making viable business in the transport segment (urban, charter, tourism, school, etc.), as well as supporting entrepreneurs in the resumption of commercial activities due to the flexibilization of the social isolation caused by the pandemic ”, concludes the executive.
