The new unit will be one of the brand’s largest one in the country
Bormana Peças e Serviços, one of the largest automotive service networks in the segment of trucks, utility vehicles, buses and trucks in the south of the country, celebrates its 30th anniversary on July 30th. The date is celebrated with the opening of one of the largest Volare vehicle dealerships across the country and is located in the city of Caxias do Sul . The new unit is located on Highway BR 116 on a piece of land with 20 thousand m² and more than 4.5 thousand m² of total constructed area.
“It is very important, at this moment we are going through tough times of business retraction, to carry out such a significant investment in Caxias do Sul, which now houses one of the largest Volare dealerships in Brazil. It gives us a lot of pride and serves as encouragement to carry on our mission of surprising and constantly improving our customer service”, highlights Irineu Mattana, director and one of the founders of Bormana.
The new unit is the fifth Volare dealership of the Bormana group located in the southern region of Brazil. The other units are located in the cities of Chapecó, Içara and Palhoça in the state of Santa Catarina (SC); and there is another one in Porto Alegre in the state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS), which was inaugurated last year. The new dealership has a large area where a range of services from sales to after-sales is offered, meeting all customer’s needs at the Serra Gaúcha with agility and fair prices. When creating the new space, the company's management devoted special attention to the workshop and technical assistance facilities, which include the most advanced mechanical, bodywork and painting maintenance and repairs in addition to an ample stock of spare parts.
“Our unique excellence in after-sales is recognized by our customers as well as the market. We were born providing specialized services in the repair of Bosch injection pumps and nozzles. Afterwards, we expanded our service portfolio to electronic injection systems, hydraulic pumps and directions, brake systems, air systems, turbo engines, engines, gearbox and differential, being one of the most complete workshops in multi-brand service in the southern region of the country. We’ve been always dedicating ourselves to exceeding customer expectations. The services provided in the new unit won’t be any different. We want to establish a new quality standard in the after-sales”, emphasizes the entrepreneur.
For this reason, in addition to all the infrastructure investments applied in the new Volare dealership, Bormana has focused on the improvement and training of technical professionals in the factory itself. Initially, the new unit will have a team of approximately 30 employees in the administrative, commercial vehicles, commercial parts and technical assistance activities in general. This unit will also count with the support of the central administration of the Bormana group.
Bormana, 30 years of excellence in the South of Brazil
Founded in 1990 by the brothers Agostinho and Irineu Mattana, Bormana Peças e Serviços was born to focus on servicing mechanical injection systems. In 2000, Bormana inaugurated its own headquarters located at RS 122 highway in the city of Caxias do Sul, near the exit to Flores da Cunha, where it also joined the Bosch authorized service network. In 2001, Bormana became part of the ZF dealer network, providing services in gearboxes and hydraulic systems, which allowed the company to expand the portfolio of products and services, becoming one of the most complete workshops in the southern region.
Over the following years, the business has expanded with the opening of branches in Içara, Chapecó and Palhoça in SC, and in RS it has four units located in the cities of Caxias do Sul, Canoas, São Leopoldo and Porto Alegre.
In 2006, Bormana implemented the distribution of multi-brand spare parts for the whole state of RS, which proved to be another successful strategy of the company.
In July 2018, it started activities as Volare dealership in Chapecó-SC, quickly expanding to other cities. In January 2019, the units in Içara and Porto Alegre were opened as Volare and Agrale dealerships. Still in July of the same year, another branch was inaugurated in the city of Palhoça-SC, this one as a Volare dealership.
In February 2019, an Iveco dealership was inaugurated with units in the region of Canoas and Caxias do Sul, nowadays expanding to other areas in the state.
The Bormana Group defined its business strategy in three important pillars that have great synergy among themselves, namely: services, parts distribution, and vehicle sales, proving they are attentive to the novelties that will certainly arise in these areas.
Nowadays, the Bormana group has more than 280 employees and it continues growing. Even with the impact of the economic crisis generated by the Coronavirus pandemic that largely affected the automotive and repair sectors, the company foresees a 20% growth rate in its business.
