Units were delivered to Paixão Tour Transportes, in Vassouras, Rio de Janeiro

Volare delivered 16 Fly 9 Escolar buses to Paixão Tour Transportes Ltd. located in the city of Vassouras, in the interior of the state of Rio de Janeiro. The vehicles supplied to Cia do Transporte dealership come in two different configurations, and they will be used to transport students in the Rio de Janeiro cities of the Vassouras region.

The school bus Volare Fly 9 design follows the main trends of the automotive segment. Due to its light features and cleaner-futuristic lines, the vehicle stands out when set side by side with the microbuses and minibuses in the domestic market.

Internally, it offers comfort, ergonomics and soundproofing that are far above when compared to conventional micro and minibuses in the market. The new dashboard adopts automotive concepts with easy access and readability of instruments, and the steering wheel, gear lever and controls are ergonomically installed. For the passenger, the Volare Fly 9 optimizes the use of internal space, offering great value for money for the passenger.

Of the 16 units, ten are the 51-seat Fly 9 School Bus model (50 passengers + driver), 162hp Cummins ISF 3.8 engine, ABS pneumatic brakes, urban door with door brake system, checkered aluminum flooring, windows with 100mm-restricted opening, height-adjustable driver seat and hydraulic damping, encapsulated steel roof hand grip, 12v in-dash socket, reverse siren, dashboard ready for radio system, electronic destination display, LED ceiling lighting, reversing camera with monitor on dashboard and vinyl school bench seats.

The other six vehicles have 44 passengers seating capacity (43 passengers + driver), a lift access to platform and Accessible Train Station Design for Disabled People. They feature a 156hp Mercedes-Benz engine, ABS air brakes, a two-leaf urban door with door brakes system, checkered aluminum flooring, 100mm-restricted opening glass windows, a height-adjustable driver seat and hydraulic damping, encapsulated steel ceiling hand grip, 12v in-dash socket, siren reverse, dashboard ready for radio system, electronic destination display, LED ceiling lighting, reverse camera with monitor on dashboard, and vinyl school bench seats.
