Company exposes model V8L for wheel chair users
Volare, a business unit of Marcopolo S.A., the Brazilian leader in the production of light vehicles for the transportation of passengers, will focus on the inclusive transportation at the 61st State Congress of Municipalities, which takes place between April 25 and 28 at the Campos do Jordão Convention Center, in the city of Campos do Jordão in São Paulo. Within the "Efficient Management" theme of the vent, the company, in partnership with its Star Bus dealer, will present the V8L model for wheel chair users developed for the segment of people with physical disabilities.
"The congress is very important and it is an opportunity for Volare to demonstrate its focus and expertise in inclusive transportation. The event brings together more than 500 city halls throughout the state of São Paulo, authorities and secretaries, and the theme of accessibility for all potential users is gaining importance every day, "explains Sidnei Vargas da Silva, the Volare's commercial manager.
The Volare V8 L School with accessibility has an elevator to facilitate embarkation and disembarkation of passengers with reduced mobility, which considerably reduces the time required for passengers to enter and leave. Operation is fast, convenient and safe. The model also has space for wheelchair users, ample aisle and wider access door, which ensures speed and ease of passengers movement.
Held by the Paulista Association of Municipalities, the event addresses important themes of municipalism in the areas of management, social assistance and development, work, education, legislation, transportation, housing, sanitation, environment, among others. All themes provide discussions that contribute to greater information and improvement of the municipal public managers. In addition to the main panels, the congress members follow the plenary sessions, where proposals, motions and theses are presented. The program also includes a Seminar for Updating Public Administration, Special Programming (aimed at the first ladies and presidents of the Social Solidarity Fund with the objective of discussing social public policies) and the Parallel Exhibition of Products and Services.
