Vehicle will operate in several districts of the municipality

Volare, a Marcopolo S.A. business unit, delivered a Volare W9 Dental Unit to the Votuporanga municipality, in São Paulo. Developed in partnership with TCA Vehicular Transformations, the vehicle will be used as a traveling dental clinic in all neighborhoods of the city.

"When we went looking for the mayor of Votuporanga, João Eduardo Dado Leite de Carvalho, and dental surgeon Edson Capel to develop the vehicle, we studied all the needs to understand which Volare model would be the most suitable for this demand. Providing a mobile dental unit to serve the population is a very important opportunity and it also contributes to the improvement of citizens' lives, especially for those who have difficulty going to the office," says João Paulo Ledur, director of the Volare Business.

The Volare W9 Mobile Dental Unit obeys all the requirements, norms and ordinances for dental units. The vehicle has a special configuration with two complete dental offices for external care in all districts of the city of Votuporanga. It has planned furniture, two chairs, sinks, air conditioning system, awning for external waiting, electrical and hydraulic installations, power generator and air compressor.

The development of the Volare Mobile Dental Unit took seven months from the design and analysis of ideas to its production, through the tender process. "Being able to meet the needs of a customer whether for a single unit or 200 vehicles, is one of Volare's great advantages," Ledur points out.

The entire population of Votuporanga can count on an exclusive service with quality, speed and convenience. One of the highlights of Volare Mobile Dental Unit is that the vehicle has already been designed with a semi-automatic lift platform to accommodate elderly or disabled people. The service will target public schools and the places around it.

The Volare W9 has 162 Hp Cummins ISF 3.8 Euro V engine, 600 Nm, power steering and 9,200 kg TGW. With 9040 mm length, the model provides fast displacement and has ample room for internal circulation of dentists and dental auxiliaries.
