The units, three Viaggio 900 and five Volare Fly 9, will be used to continuously charter employees from companies in the region
In the first four months of 2021, the main segment of the Brazilian bus industry to push production continues to be continuous charter. In almost all states in the country, operators have sought to renew their fleet to further raise the standard of service quality and meet all the standards established by WHO for social distancing.
One of the companies to renew their fleets is Alexandre Turismo, from the city of São José, Santa Catarina, which acquired eight new Marcopolo vehicles, three Viaggio 900 and five Volare Fly 9. The units will be used to continuously charter employees from companies in the region.
“For us, the acquisition of these new vehicles has a special meaning, as we have recently completed 25 years of activities. We are currently in a particularly challenging time, we know that, but with a lot of work and dedication we have achieved positive results amid the uncertainties brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. We remain firm, strong and thunderous, as I like to say, to provide quality and safe service to our customers”, José Marciel Neis comments, director of Alexandre Turismo.
“The charter segment has ensured resumption of the economy throughout the country and accounted for 68.9% of Marcopolo's road production in the first quarter of this year. Operators have invested to offer extremely safe service with a high standard of quality and comfort”, Alexandre Cervelin explains, business manager responsible for serving the Santa Catarina market.
The three Marcopolo Viaggio 900 units, with a Volvo B270F chassis, have 46 Executive model seats, USB sockets, in addition to air conditioning systems, among other equipment and comfort and safety items.
The Volare Fly 9 units have 32 Executive Soft seats, an air conditioning system, DPM accessibility device and have a bold design, with lighter, cleaner and more harmonious lines, which make them different from all the minibuses in the national market. Internally, they offer very high standards of comfort, ergonomics and sound insulation, with better use of the internal space.
